LANDOWNERS! Do you live in a sensitive or vulnerable area near a well or intake?   

The following maps show the area near our local municipal drinking water sources that is sensitive to contamination or overuse.  This is the area where certain land use activities have the potential to affect the quality and quantity of the water source. Information about drinking water threats for landowners. 

Early in 2010 property owners near these water sources will recieve a letter and questionnaire asking for their input.  If you received a letter, please take a few moments to fill out the questionnaire and return it in the postage paid envelope provided.  Background Information for Landowners.

Village of Wellington -   The Intake for the Village of Wellington is 1.6 km out in Lake Ontario and as such, is not near any private property.
