Maps

Many maps were created as part of the science upon which the Source Protection Plan is based.

The maps were created using Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software. This mapping system captures, manages, analyzes, and displays geographically referenced information and data. It allows us to easily view and understand data by presenting it on a map.

Maps from specific reports can be found on the respective report pages.

Vulnerable area maps show Wellhead Protection Areas (WHPAs) and Intake Protection Zones (IPZs) in the Quinte Source Protection Area.
